This successful campaign featured both the original V miniseries and its follow-up V-The Final Battle.   

V and V-The Final Battle remained exceedingly popular with science fiction fans since they were initially broadcast on NBC back in the 1980s,  and are still occasionally repeated on the SCI-FI Channel.  

This allegory about the Nazi movement in Germany features mankind's first encounter with human like aliens- a race that turn out to a species of reptiles intent upon domination of the planet and depleting the Earth of its natural resources.

Warner Home Video has issued V- The Original Miniseries on DVD in a single disc set.  The official release date for V-The Final Battle on DVD is set for August 6, 2002, with the even longer miniseries appearing as a two disc set.
